AV Buddy is a valuable tool for professionals in the Audio-Visual and Information Technology industry. The latest Version 9 leverages Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities to assist AV sales representatives accurately specify display sizes and help clients visualize their upcoming AV installations.

• AR Displays
  Utilizing AR technology, users can virtually place displays or projector screens within a client's location, with the flexibility to position multiple displays throughout the environment. Display sizes range from 43" to 98", while projection screen sizes span from 119" to 235". This tool enables users to precisely determine the correct size, change the display image to various types (general, detailed, inspection), capture screenshots, and record display size and positioning details – making it beneficial for AV sales professionals and anyone needing to decide on their next display size.
• Elevation Tool
  This feature plots a single display elevation complete with outlet points, call-out boxes, AFFL, and conduit information. Users can select from pre-defined display dimensions or create custom displays with up to 4 outlets. The elevation diagram is automatically saved and can be converted to PDF for printing or sharing.
• AV Buddy Jobs
  The addition of a job board allows users to browse through AV/IT job vacancies or post their own openings on avbuddyjobs.com.

• Main Section
  This section hosts connector pin-outs, termination videos, speaker wiring diagrams, audio interconnect information, polar patterns, and cable guides. Information includes popular pins such as BNC, RCA, DVI, HDMI, and various others. Termination video guides cover different connectors like BNC Crimp and XLR. Speaker wiring diagrams include Parallel, Series, and Series-Parallel setups.
• Audio Interconnects
  The section covers 22 common audio interconnects with detailed 3D diagrams for visual clarity.
• Polar Patterns
  Seven polar patterns are explained with accompanying descriptions and diagrams to aid in understanding.
• Cable Guide
  There are detailed descriptions and diagrams for ethernet cabling, coax cables, and audio cabling types like RG6 or RG8 coaxial cables and different Ethernet standards like UUTP or FFTP.
